With only nine days to go until Consumer Focus goes live on 1 October our start-up team is working hard to make sure that everyone has the information and support they need.
The day will mean different things to different people. Some of us will be starting new roles, some will be moving on and others will continue to do essential transition work.
Over the coming fortnight the uncertainty that our transition period has brought will begin to resolve. Those with confirmed roles in the new organisation are eager to learn details like where their desk or team will be and who their manager will be. Others will be seeking details of severance.
Information has already been made available about the changeover plans and more will be coming this week in the form of FAQs. I would like to thank you for your patience and we confirm more details as soon as we can.
Thank you for some very good work
Earlier in the year more than 60 of our colleagues across energywatch, Postwatch and the consumer councils took part in some valuable work to help us define the ‘new world’ of Consumer Focus. Their feedback will start to bring its vision, mission and strategy to life.
This work was reviewed by the board last week and the outputs and actions will be shared with you later in the year.
In the meantime I would like to send my thanks to those who took part and provided a hugely important input into the life of the new organisation – despite the uncertainty about their own futures as part of it.
